Our Painting Warranty

When you undertake a major expense, as a painting job can be, you should feel confident that your purchase will last a long time without requiring costly maintenance.

Pavo achieves this by repairing cracking, peeling, or chipping paint resulting from defective workmanship up to two years after completion of a project.

Pavo Limited Warranty:

Subject to the limitations set forth below, for a period of 24 months from the Effective Date of your Service Agreement, Pavo Interior Painting agrees to repair cracking, peeling, or chipping paint that results from defective workmanship.

For this warranty to be effective, you must:

  • Retain a copy of the original contract.

  • Present evidence that all payments have been made in full within the three-day collection period as described in the Service Agreement.

  • Contact Pavo Interior Painting by phone, at (908) 842-6298, so that we can arrange for an inspection of your property, explain the nature and extent of the covered repairs and plan for performing the covered repairs.

  • Make the property accessible to us, during the times we are available.

If the warranty is deemed applicable, Pavo Interior Painting agrees to the following:

  • Perform all of the covered repairs at no additional cost.

  • Perform any covered repairs on specific areas where cracking, peeling, or chipping has occurred. 

  • An exact color match cannot be assured, as environmental conditions can affect paint color over time.


Warranty Exclusions:

  • Any work where the paint materials were supplied by an entity/individual other than Pavo Interior Painting.

  • Any work not performed by Pavo Interior Painting or where a non-employee of Pavo Interior Painting has attempted surface preparation.

  • Water intrusion detection or elimination.

  • Paint peeling resulting from moisture intrusion. Even when applied properly, paint will peel in areas exposed to a large amount of moisture.

  • Paint bubbling.

  • Any horizontal surface or any surface that, by its design, permits moisture to collect. This includes, but is not limited to decks, railings, stairs, and porches.

  • Varnished or natural finished wood surfaces.

  • The appearance of mildew, mold, or any other microorganism.

  • The appearance of cracking, peeling, or chipping resulting from ground movement or earthquakes.

  • The appearance of cracking, peeling, or chipping resulting from structural settling.

  • The appearance of cracking, peeling, or chipping resulting from shear, tension, or compression of the painted surface.

  • We will not be responsible for exactly matching existing colors or textures. Nor can we guarantee that the paint samples you select will perfectly match the finish coating.

  • Conditions that are the result of a failure in the paint itself. Including, but not limited to, fading, chalking, flashing, and lapping. We recommend lighter colors, as they are more reflective of the sunlight and generally extend the life of a paint film.

THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY MADE BY PAVO INTERIOR PAINTING AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. THIS WARRANTY COVERS ONLY THOSE SERVICES PROVIDED BY PAVO INTERIOR PAINTING TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER NAMED ON THE SERVICE AGREEMENT.
